I am doing National Novel Writing Month this year and here is a question that they asked on the 'Breaking News' thingy on their site. I think it's really cool.
Question: What do each of my characters want more than anything else in the world?
Title: The Swift Giver
Characters:
- Shoemowetochawcawewahcatowe: "I want to learn English from Rebecca."
- Kohana/Swift Giver: "I want to be accepted in my society, and I want Rebecca to love me."
- Rebecca: "I want to find true love."
- Daniel/Father: "I want us to reach Oregon."
- Josephine/Mother: "I want all of my family to reach Oregon safely."
- Andrew/Brother: "I want to go to university."
- Virginia/Sister: ?
- Sophia/Sister: *she is five - she has a lot of questions about everything, so her wants change on a nearly daily basis.
- Tom Taylor (friend): "I wanna get ter Oregon before my daddy abuses me again."
- Matthew Taylor (father of friend): "I want to get to Oregon...just because." (lol)
- Will Taylor (illegal slave): "I want ter runaway from Matt in Oregon."
I think that's everyone. But yeah...
